The result is influenced by a wide range of different genres, but in particular trance, beats and breaks, ambient and downbeat IDM. Northcape has developed a distinctive and unifying style drawn strongly from personal experience. The music is produced in a very intuitive way, rather than attempting to make a particular type of track or fit into a particular musical gentre. This approach leads to something that is both enjoyable to listen to and refreshingly different.
